There
has been a great deal of concern over the recent
required recall by Fort Dodge Labs of their heartworm
medication ProHeart6.
Here
at Ashworth Road Animal Hospital we took a very pro-active
approach and decided to discontinue the use of this product
before the recall was ever announced.
Our
main focus is and has always been the quality care of
your pet. This includes monitoring the effectiveness and
safety of any and all medications we prescribe. If you
